In the modern age, nothing - from aspects of our daily lives to business or sophisticated data processing - can be worked out without computers. In all kinds of business, various information technologies and knowledge of business are required. The students will learn the latest information technology as well as business management and marketing to become experts on information technology. We cultivate professionals who have wisdom and sensibility to suit the age of the Internet.
Five courses focusing on future specialties
Five courses are available for students in second and later years to pursue
their learning systematically, focusing on their specialized fi eld. Meanwhile,
a number of training courses, ranging from basics to applied learning, offer
students opportunities to acquire adaptable fi ghting potential. Subjects of
other courses and two or more courses can also be taken at the same time.
Teachers specializing in information technology in charge of seminars
All students, from freshmen to seniors, belong to seminars of teachers
specializing in information technology. Near one-on-one training in small
classes allows you to develop your skills and apply them to practical
operations.

Sophisticated facilities and networks, including computer systems renewed in 2005, are used in various classes, while a number of PCs freely usable by the students are also available to enhance their skills.

By studying Web-related technology, multimedia, and computer
graphics, the students examine a better interface between users
and computers, acquiring the skills to design e-business contents by
themselves.
In this course, students learn methodologies such as data analyses, business games and so on. The course is intended to cultivate human resources capable of operating practical Web systems.
In this course the students learn about marketing that utilizes the connection between corporations and consumers such as the Internet and mobile, thus cultivating human resources with substantial problemsolving skills capable of playing an active role in the network society that is evolving from day to day.
In this course the students learn how to tackle the problems associated with our everyday lives such as issues focused on environment, food, or education, through PCs. The students acquire the skills to fi nd out whether information they are given is reliable or not, and thus become able to send out reliable messages.
New Internet technologies such as Web2.0 and Webservice are completely transforming both business transactions and our lives. In the Information System Department, the students learn the basics and applications of information technology, which supports the new age, via a wide range of practical training classes and seminars.
All the seminars of the Information System Department are held in classrooms connected via the on-campus network. By pursuing practical-based learning, students acquire reliable skills. To encourage this, many of the teachers in charge of seminars make their laboratories open to the students. Close cooperation with the teachers in charge allows you to narrow down the theme of your research, thus enhancing your expertise.
