About Kobe

Kobe is one of the earliest internationalized cities, located in the middle-west part of Japan. It takes only 20 minutes from Osaka central station by train, also around 65 minutes from the Kansai International Airport by dedicated limousine service.

In 1995, Kobe had a serious earthquake (magnitude: 7.2).  More than 6,000 peoples were killed by the disaster.  However, Kobe was completely recovered and showing dramatic growing in the territorial economy and international trading traffics through their modernized ship port facilities, today.

The International Conference Center is located in the middle of the Port Island which was constructed more than 20 years ago to enhance their trade shipping capacity. So many sophisticated conference and accommodation facilities are provided in the island.
