Sept.8 (Mon):
I departed for Oregon today. However, Delta 52 was about 4 hours late. I
thought we were unlucky. It was very excited for me to take an airplane.
Sept.9 (Tue):
I visited TIUA and Williamet University. Today's my TIUA partner was Kumiko.
She was very kind to me. I went eating Mcdonald after Safeway. Hamberger
was too big!! Iwas very surprised to see it. I had a good time with her.
Sept.10 (Wed):
I visited Silver Creek Falls with everyone. I was impressed by nature. Fall
was very beautiful and cool!!! I enjoyed having a good time! Mr.Duell, thanks!!
After school, I went to theater with Misato, Etsuko, Risa and thier host
family. We watched "Shall we dance?" It was beautiful movies.
Sept.11 (Thu):
Today's my partner was Tomomi. I studied "Cultural Anthropology"
with her. The class was very interesting!! Then, I went shopping with her.
I bought a lot of items!! After shopping, I went drinking "Straberry
Shake" at RAM. It was very delicious!! I want to go "RAM"
again!!
Sept.12 (Fri):
Today's my partner was Kumiko. I went to Salem Center with her. I bought
toys. Tonight, I went to convinience stor with Joie and Misato. We bought
cookies and juice. Then, we ate them outside. Cookies were very delicious!!
Sept.13 (Sat):
Today was TIUA Hearvest Festival. TIUA students and teacher were very excited.
I ate "yakitori and curryrice". It was very delicious!! Then I
was painted my face by TIUA students. Face painting was very cute!! I enjoyed
having a good time!!
Sept.14 (Sun):
Today was driving day !!! My host family and Misato and I went to Oregon
Coast and Lincon city. Pacific Ocean was very beautiful. But wind was strong.
Then, we went shopping at Outlet shop. I enjoyed having a good day!!!
Sept.15 (Mon):
I looked forward to coming today! I went shopping in Portland. Portland
was very busy city. I bought many items!!! I was very happy!!!
Sept.16 (Tue):
Today, I wanted to come back to Japan..... But,thanks for Mrs. Baby and
Mr. Duell, I became reconciled with my host family. Now, I'm very happy!!!
Sept.17 (Wed):
We went to high school. High school was very big and freedom. Japanese class
was very interesting!! All students were very kind to us. We had a good
time!!!
Sept.18 (Thu):
I went to Salem Center with Misato, Ryo and Hiro. I got lipstick. I was
very happy. After school, I took pictures with TIUA students. I was sad....
Because I must go to Japan, tomorrow....
Sept.19 (Fri):
Today is departure day.... I spend very happy time in Salem!! I was very
sad... I wanted to spend more time in Salem. Salem was nice and beautiful
and confortable place..... I love Salem and a lot of people. Oregon is place
of memory for me. I hope to come back in Salem, Oregon next year. Mr.Duell,
TIUA students, my host family and my parents.... thanks...
