Sept.8 (Mon):
I arrived at TIUA and I met my pertners and my host family. Then I ate dinner
with Risa and host family in dining room. I gave presents to host family.
I was happy because they were pleased my presents.
Sept.9 (Tue):
I went to Willamette University with my pertner. I was surprised that Willamette
University was wide and there were big squirrels in the yard. Then we went
to Mission Mill, Safeway and McDonald. In the afternoon I attended class,
Information processing.
Sept.10 (Wed):
I attended class, Micro and Micro apply with my pertner. At pm 1:00 We had
gone to see the Silver Creek Falls. There were many nature and I felt refreshed.
In the evening, I went to theater to watch "Sall we dance?" with
Mrs.Bev, Mizue, Risa, Ayako and Misato. It was very funny!
Sept.11 (Thu):
I attended American history class with my pertner. This afternoon, I and
Risa went to shopping to Salam Center only two. We bought many pretty goods.
I was very tired.
Sept.12 (Fri):
We went to gas station before school. We attended American history applying
class. In the afternoon, we went to shopping to Value Village with Yumiko
and Tomomi by bus. In the evening, we ate very big stake. It was very delisious
and I felt happy!
Sept.13 (Sat):
Today was Hearvest Festival. We went to school with Mrs.Bev and Kathleen.
I had painted a Rabbit in my face. Then we went to shopping to Salem Center
and Big super market. Then we watched movie, "Toy story" in our
house. "Toy story" was very funny story, i like it!
Sept.14 (Sun):
We went to the church. Everyone in the church were singing some english
song. And we went to Oregon Coast. It was windy and rainy but the Pacific
Ocean was wide. And we went to shopping to Lincorn City. Mrs.Bev bought
us a bag and a blanket which was made in Oregon. And Kathleen presented
us a pretty candle. Today was very excited day!
Sept.15 (Mon):
We went to shopping to Portland by Duell's car. Portland was very beauty
city and there were many pretty buildings. And I ate very big ice cream.
It was very good! In the evening, we cooked dinner, Okonomiyaki and Temakizushi
for our host family. I am very happy because they were pleased them.
Sept.16 (Tue):
I will attended tennis class in Willamette University. But today was rainy
and it called off. And I attended class, Human Resources Managment. I learned
a word "status". It means "rank". Then today was pizza
party. I ate pizza with Risa and my host students.
Sept.17 (Wed):
I attended class, Culture Anthropology. In the afternoon, we went to Sprague
High School and we attended Japanese class. They spoke Japanese very well.
And we went to shopping to Lancaster Mall and K-mart. I and Risa used bus
to go back to school. Mr.Randy had cooked Tacos. It was very good but I
felt spicy!
Sept.18 (Thu):
We played basketball in Willamette University gymnasium and I was running
in Willamette University gym. Then we went to Kathleen's riding school.
I touched the horse, he was very cute. And we went to her elementry school
and Japanese food restrant.
Sept.19 (Fri):
Today was parting day. I didn't think that I want to go back to Japan. We
went to Portland Airport. And we flighted Oregon at 1:00. It had nice trip
and everything was my first experience!!
