Sept.8 (Mon):
Today I arrived at portland, but the plain started about four hour behind
schdule. And then we met host family at TIUA. I had dinner with host family,
after that I went to supermarket. That was very huge place, like a warehouse.
Sept.9 (Tue):
The I met TIUA host student at 9:30 When my host student had no class in
the morning,we did the sight of down town. Now it's 21:00 past although
I'm sleepy. Is it jet lag?
Sept.10 (Wed):
Today was free day. In the afternoon, we went to Silver Creek Falls. There
was a lot of falls.
Sept.11 (Thu):
Today I attended a class with my host student. Then I'm surprised thah it
was differnt from Japanese class style. After dinner, I played patter golf
with host family. It was great fun and very excited.
Sept.12 (Fri):
Today was free day, too. so I had no class. When I came home, I went to
practice of softball with host family. I played softball after absence,
I enjoyed myself it.
Sept.13 (Sat):
I got up late because I had no class today. In the afternoon, we went to
Harvest Festival at TIUA with host family. I thoght that it's introduce
things Japanese rather than Harvest Festival.
Sept.14 (Sun):
Tonight, I went to see a movie. Tittle of the movie was "Air Force
One". I thught that I don't understand what to say because speak too
fast. But I could understand it. So I almost understood that story.
Sept.15 (Mon):
Today I went to Portland. It was different from Salem that is like a rural
city. But Portland is like a urban city. So there were a lot of shopping
center and mall. I brought many things.
Sept.16 (Tue):
I exercised information processing. In the evening we held a pizza party
with our host students. there were more pizza than we could eat.
Sept.17 (Wed):
Today we went to Sprague high school. There was Japanese class where I thought
them Japanese. They have studyed Japanese several years, though they speak
good Japanese.
Sept.18 (Thu):
In the morning we played basketball at Willamette University. Well today
was last night. we stay host family home. but I don't think so rather than
keep stay one or two weeks more. By the way I crammed my suitcase very hard.
because I have bought a lot of things since I came to Salem and Portland.
Sept.19 (Fri):
Today come back to Japan. but I think so yet. Now we gets on plane and I
don't know how to pass the time. We will really arrive at Japan more three
hours. Finally looking back, it was really good time.
