Sept.8 (Mon):
I played practical computer in the morning. Afternoon, I went to Narita
airport but our plane took off Narita about 4 hours and a half behind schedule.
After about 9 hours, I arrived at Portland and went to Salem. Then I met
host family on 17:00 and ate dinner at Kaneko hall. I got nervou s very
well.
Sept.9 (Tue):
I attended class with TIUA host student but I did not understand it. Then,
I went to shopping in Salem Center and Payless. When I came back home, I
was not accustomed to American life.
Sept.10 (Wed):
I went to shopping in Value Village. It takes 30 minutes on foot. And afternoon,
we went to Silver Creek Falls. It was beautiful but very cold.
Sept.11 (Thu):
As I was free time today, I went to shopping in Salem Center. Then, I walked
around TIUA. After I came back home, I rode a horse for the first time.
I am scared.
Sept.12 (Fri):
I went to shopping in Misson Mill and Salem Center. I went to Pizza restaurant
and ate the dinner with host family. After I came back home, I watched movie.
Sept.13 (Sat):
I played golf and watched soccer game in the morning. Then, I went to Harvest
Festival afternoon. On my way to the house, I went to shopping with host
family, so I met TIU students there. I was surprised.
Sept.14 (Sun):
I went to mountain with host family. We ate lunch there. As soon as we came
back home, we went to church. Then, I rode a horse.
Sept.15 (Mon):
I went to Portland all day. I went to shopping in Nike Town and department
store. After I ate dinner, I played tag with host children in the house.
I was tired but fun.
Sept.16 (Tue):
I went to shopping in Salem Center. Pizza party hold a meeting in TIUA on
17:30. After I came back home, I played hide-and-seek with host children
. It was fun.
Sept.17 (Wed):
We went to Sprague high school. I taught Japanese there. They spoke Japanese
very well. Then I went to Lancaster Mall and Value Village.
Sept.18 (Thu):
We played basketball in the Willamette University's gym. Then I went to
shopping in Salem Center. Fairwell Party hold a meeting in TIUA on 17:00.
T hen, I ate dinner in a restaurant with host family.
Sept.19 (Fri):
I communicated with host family at during breakfast. Then I left for host
family and Salem. After about 10 hours, I arrived at Narita. I was very
tired. Now, I thought that I would like to stay a little longer Salem in
America. This finished my trip.
