From September 7 - 19, 1998, Prof. Duell accompanied eight students to TIU of America in Salem, Oregon, USA. The purpose was to experience TIUA life first-hand by shadowing students of Prof. Wayne Gregory, and to learn more about life in Salem through staying with Salem host families.

Prof. Wayne Gregory (TIUA) coordinated a homepage for our TIUA visit, tied into his Fall 1998 "Applied English - Information Science" course whose students hosted Duell's students.
