On June 10, 1998, the Duell Freshman Tutorial class visited a neighborhood karaoke singing spot to sing karaoke in English.
Below are student impressions of English Karaoke Singing:
Chika's Impressions:
I like KARAOKE very much. I spent fun time. I like English songs and singing.
Erika's Impressions:
I enjoyed in the karaoke I was very happy to sing a song with you. If we have o chance to go to karaoke. I want to go once more.
Ica's Impressions:
We had a good time..... Especially girls. Why the boys are so quite?? Are they shy? I think thats no need to be shy.
We are friends!! Wow....Professor had a good time too. He was exciting! Your voice is good.
Jiro's Impressions:
Karaoke is very interesting. It is so fun!
Kozue's Impressions:
I don't know English song. So I am not sing. Karaoke was a bore.
Kyoko's Impressions:
I enjoyed singing a English song with my classmates. I think everyone can become a good singer.
Mami's Impressions:
I like karaoke. I sang "Top of the world" and "A whole new world." It's so difficult English song. But I was enjoying.
Mari's Impressions:
Miu's Impressions:
I had a cold. I could not sing a song. Girls sings very well. It was fan. KARAOKE is very pleasant.
Natsu's Impressions:
I like Karaoke very much. I enjoyed Karaoke. But it is difficult for me to sing only English song. Because I rarely listen to English songs.
I song "Top of the world" by Carpenters with Mami. "Top of the world" is very popular song among Japanese. I want to become to sing a lot of English songs. And I want to try singing English songs by Karaoke.
I want to listen to men's note next time.
Oga's Impressions:
Two weeks ago, I enjoyed karaoke. They sing a song very well.

My class went to caraoke. I like caraoke. But I can't song in English. The girl's song very well. I was surprised. At last it was fan.
Yanagi's Impressions:
We went to karaoke. I coudn`t enjoy because I was very sleepy. If we have chance, I want to enjoy karaoke.
