Prof. Barry Duell - Self Introduction

Hello. My name is Barry Duell. I am a professor at Tokyo International University's School of Business and Commerce in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan. I have been teaching English courses here since 1974. In recent years, I have also been teaching Tutorial classes, and from Fall 1998 I am teaching Cultural Anthropology.

In 1996, it was my pleasure to deepen my association with TIU of America through the teaching of a joint class with Prof. Wayne Gregory. Our ongoing collaborative project utilizing Internet resources is called "Hands Across the Water."

In my free time I enjoy traveling, swimming, hiking, eating in interesting restaurants, and so on.
