Kawagoe where I was born, is a castle town and always crowded. Still now, Kawagoe castle and many other old buildings are remained, the streets and the houses of the town are tasteful. Out of them, the most famous buildings are Kitain or Tokinokane. And a sweet potato is special food of Kawagoe, and tasty sweet potato sweets are sold everywhere in the town. In Kawagoe, a big festival take places in October 14 and 15 once a year.
