About Salem City and Park's
life
1.Answer: I think Salem is a very quiet and small city. As
the capital city of Oregon, Salem is Oregon's third largest city with a
population of 116,950. Salem is centered in the heart
of the Willamette Valley- one of the most fertile
and agriculturally parts of Oregon. I
like Salem because I can feel comfortable. When I went to New York City
I missed Salem because New York was very dirty and traffic was a mess. So
I wanted to go back to Salem. However, I miss Kawagoe City in Japan. Sometimes
I miss the 7/11 store. I used to eat "oden"
in the winter.
2.Answer: I have an American roomate. Her name is "Jess". She
is a very good friend. We used to talk about Japan, Korea and American culture.
She is interested in other cultures, especially Korean and Japanese. It
is very fun and I can learn about American culture. I will try to make friends.
I belong to the English conversation club at TIUA. We meet together once
a week at lunch time. Americans try to learn about Japanese culture and
I try to learn about American culture. I am not Japanese, so I talk about
Korean culture.
