Answer to the Questions

1. Do you like American food?

Yes, I do! I love hash browns, and I often eat hamburgers and french fries at lunch. To be honest, I will say that I like Japanese food, because American food is too excessive, for example too salty, oily, sweet, etc. I prefer Japanese food more than American food. I have often missed Japanese food since I've been here. In America, there are many fast food shops, M'cDonald, Burger King, Daily Queen, Wenddy's, Kentucky, Taco Bell , etc. Finally, Hamburger and French fly and Coke is typical American Lunch.

2. How is a weather at Willamette?

Summer is fine, but other seasons have a lot of rain. We always take raincoats or umbrellas to school. The temperature is not so different from Kawagoe, Japan. Oregon is very dry in the summer and we are able to live here comfortably. This summer, we often relaxed at the swimming pool in Kaneko. In the winter, we can ski and snowboarding at the Mt. Food. Since I have been here, I tried to do snowboarding just one times. It was first time for me. I really excited!!

3. What subject do you like?

I like American History. I took this class in summer semester, and now I am taking this class again. It is really interesting for me. Now we are learning about Flappers. It was popular in the 1920's in the U.S. Also, I am taking a computer class. It is amazing!! Although I didn't know how to use computers before, I can use them easily now. I am always checking on the baseball games by using the Internet. It is really useful. Fortunately through the class project, we could talk with you by using e-mail. I think this project is great, because we can know each other across the country. Also we can improve our English skills.
