TIUA
program fun?
The TIUA program is so fun because we have interesting and exciting activities such as club activities,
elective
classes, academic courses, campus activities and our own projects, such as snowboarding, traveling somewhere, and studying! In this program, you have to create our own life. Therefore, you feel probably feel a kind of satisfaction about this program. You can feel achievement as you spending good life here with your efforts.
2. How is the weather in Oregon in Salem?
Recently, it has been very cold and rainy continuously. Also during winter, there is not a lot of snow in Salem but there is a lot in the mountains nearby. Therefore, you can go snowboarding and skiing somewhere. However, it is not too hot and not too cold here during Summer term. In this term, a refreshing
breeze
floats over Salem. And you can go to hiking, climbing mountain, taking a walk in the national park and reading books under the shadow of tree.
3. What kind of class are you taking at TIUA?
I am taking two kinds of
elective
classes at TIUA.
International Political Economy
This class is a kind of Economy class, however it focus more on International Economics such as international trading, trade
restriction
trade
friction
and so on. Besides that, this course requires writing essay, participating in discussion about some material issues and involving American students in projects.
Information Science
As you know this class uses computers to create web page on the Internet. You can create your own Home page on the Net. This project is so fun. If you start to create your own home page, you can not stop! Anyway, any TIUA classes are so fun, interesting, but you have to do like a
nightmare
homework. So many homework!
