Fatih Ozaydin completed his B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2003 and M.S. in Electronics Engineering in 2005 at Isik University, Turkey. As a MEXT scholar, he completed his Ph.D. in Quantum Information and Quantum Optics Lab. at Osaka University, Japan in 2010.

During his M.S. studies, he worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Department of Physics, Isik University. He worked as a Software Engineer in The Integrated Maritime Surveillance Systems Project for the Turkish Navy (2005-2006). He worked as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering, Okan University, Turkey (2010-2013). He worked as an Assistant and Associated Professor in Department of Information Technologies, Isik University (2010-2017). He worked as Vice Director of Technology Transfer Office of Isik University. As a Visiting Professor, he worked in Micro/Nano Photonics Lab., Washington University in St. Louis, USA (2014) and in Photon Science Center, The University of Tokyo (2017-2018). He worked as the Manager of IT Department of Has-Nihon Trading Co. Ltd., an international Japanese company (2017-2019).

His research interests focus in Quantum Technologies, in particular Communications, Networks, Metrology, Thermodynamics and AI. He is also interested in Quantum Zeno Dynamics, PT-Symmetry, Relativity and High Energy Physics, and he is an official collaborator of Future Circular Collider (FCC) Project of CERN. He published original research articles in journals such as Physical Review A, Optics Express, Scientific Reports, European Physical Journal – A: Hadrons and Nuclei, The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, Quantum Information Processing, etc. He is a Reviewer Board Member of Photonics journal.

He supervised 8 M.S. and 1 Ph.D. theses.

He conducted research as PI, researcher or consultant in several research projects; the most recent one entitled “Quantum Fuels for Space Technologies” as an EU-COST Action, Call: CA15220 Quantum Technologies in Space.

He has experience in fabrication and characterization of micro-nano optical resonators; developing FDTD simulations for electromagnetic propagation using MEEP library and Lumerical; developing packages for Wolfram Mathematica, military software and quantum Monte Carlo simulations.
