Automatic Bank Withdrawal

All undergraduate and graduate students of Tokyo International University will be required to pay tuition fees via automatic bank withdrawal.
You are required to register your bank details using the Pay-Easy machine at the Accounting Office on Campus 1 and Ikebukuro Campus. For this you will need your student ID, ATM cash card, and bank book.

Payment Deferral Procedures

If you need to defer the payment due date for your tuition fees due to financial reasons, you will need to apply for a payment deferral on POTI by June 28/Nov 29.
Payment Deferral Request Form will be available on POTI.

Semester Application period for the payment deferral Deferred payment due date
Spring 9 a.m. May 13, 2024 - 5 p.m. June 28, 2024 July 15, 2024
Fall 9 a.m. Oct 15, 2024 - 5 p.m. Nov 29, 2024 Dec 16, 2024

Even though you have applied for the payment deferral to extend the due date until July 15/Dec 16, the scheduled automatic bank withdrawal will still be carried out. In order to avoid your tuition fees being withdrawn from your bank account, make sure your bank balance is less than your tuition fee amount. The paid tuition fee will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
It is necessary to transfer your tuition fee to the university’s bank account by the Deferred payment due date (July 15/ Dec 16).

If you fail to complete your tuition fee payment by June 30/Nov 30 and did not apply for the payment deferral during the application period, you will be required to add an additional 2,000 JPY procedure fee when you transfer your tuition fee.
If you fail to complete your tuition fee payment (including the payment deferral procedure fee of 2,000 JPY) by the final due date, your name will be removed from TIU's register.
