New Major: Bachelor of Science in Data Science & AI

Through the university’s English Track (E-Track) Program, Tokyo International University (TIU) is excited to launch a new English-medium undergraduate major – the Bachelor of Science in Data Science & AI (DSAI) – with classes starting from the 2026 Fall semester.

About the DSAI Major

The DSAI major equips students with advanced IT skills for today’s rapidly evolving digital environment. Students build a strong foundation in computer science, mathematics, and statistics, studying data structures, algorithms, system design, programming, discrete mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and deep learning. Advanced topics include natural language processing, generative AI, AI engineering, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. Students apply these skills to challenges in a variety of technology- and business-related fields. With access to facilities like the TIU Human and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory on Kawagoe Campus, students gain practical experience and prepare for careers in data and AI or for advanced master’s study.

Check the DSAI major page HERE for more information.
