E-Track Students Practice Japanese on Campus with Conversation Partners (CPs)

While English Track (E-Track) degree programs are taught entirely in English, international students who want to live and work in Japan are strongly encouraged to improve their Japanese. Learning Japanese will not only make you more competitive in the job market; it is also a great way to make friends with local Japanese students at TIU. With this in mind, TIU continues to support E-Track students through the Conversation Partner (CP) program.

On November 25th, TIU held a special event to promote the CP program while giving international and Japanese students a chance to meet and mingle. Participants were divided into small groups consisting of several E-Track students and one or two Japanese conversation partners. Topics such as “what surprised you most about life in Japan” and “what would you do if you won a million yen in the lottery” prompted fun conversations.

Afterward, two senior E-Track students talked to all participants about their Japanese learning journeys and the importance of continuous practice.

We thank all participants for making this event a big success!
